Trauma-Informed Ministry Workshop - October

Trauma-Informed Ministry Workshop - October

Congregations can be places of healing—and also places where old wounds are unknowingly reopened. The Trauma-Informed Ministry Workshop helps religious professionals and lay leaders recognize trauma’s impact in their faith communities and respond with grounded compassion. In this five-hour session, you'll connect with fellow practitioners, gain practical tools for cultivating safety, trust, and resilience, and find renewed inspiration for the work of ministry. Participants tell us that these trauma-informed conversations transform how they lead and care for others, helping them build deeper connections while sustaining their own sense of purpose and hope.

Join LeaderWise’s Laura Beth Buchleiter & Sarah Lammert to learn more about what trauma is, how to bring a trauma-informed lens into your ministry, and how to care for yourself as you engage in this work. Come deepen your ministry and rediscover the calm center from which healing begins. See also our blog post on Trauma-Informed Ministry in Everyday Encounters.
