LEADERWISE LEARNING HOUR

Spiritual Direction as a Resource for Conflict Mediation

Join LeaderWise’s Kathy Talvacchia for our next Learning Hour.

Spiritual direction can provide avenues for deeper reflection, a clarified sense of call, and a profound connection to the Holy. Discerning the presence of Spirit and being attentive to its promptings helps us to center into a grounded and convicted action. The fruits of a spiritual companioning relationship can bring a Spirit-based clarity and conviction to our work in managing conflicts that arise in our communities. In this workshop we will explore the connection of spiritual direction as a resource for negotiating conflict and develop some practical tools for use in community contexts.

The LeaderWise Learning Hour
Quarterly Zoom Conversations to Help you Lead

Learn from LeaderWise and experience the support that so many have said they wish they had known about sooner. When you access wisdom from LeaderWise along with expertise from our connected partners, you can build a stronger resource base from which to lead. Each quarter in 2025, join LeaderWise at no-cost to learn from an expert about a topic, to share conversation with peers, and to download helpful resources for your files. We know that ministry leadership is more difficult now than ever and that many leaders feel they are alone. Register today for our first session taking place February 25 featuring Laura Horton-Ludwig and her work with highly-sensitive clergy. A recording of the presentation (but not the conversation) will be available for those who can’t attend live.

Plan to join us for the future LeaderWise Learning Hour November 18 (1p ET / noon CT / 11a MT / 10a PT).
