TARA HUMPHRIES
REFLECTIVE SUPERVISOR
Tara (they/them) is an ordained Unitarian Universalist Minister serving in the parish setting. They are a graduate of Bates College, Yale Divinity School (MDiv), and hold Certificates in Congregational Leadership from Andover Newton Seminary, Transitional Ministry from the Interim Ministry Network, and Reflective Pastoral Supervision from CCS/Wesley House. Tara's Reflective Supervision practice is grounded in three core beliefs: Faith leadership and communities can transform lives; the work of Ministry is too important to do without a space to wrestle with its challenges, mysteries, and joys; and thriving in ministry is possible.
In addition to serving in congregational life and supporting colleagues, Tara engages in organizing for trans+ justice at the denominational, city, and state levels. Outside of ministry you'll find them running and kayaking with their partner, attending local drag shows, and volunteering with kids and horses at a therapeutic farm. Portland, Maine, is where they call home.
