emilie boggis (pronounced BOG-ISS) is human. A deeply relational leader, consultant, and an ordained minister, she considers missteps and mistakes a source of wisdom. With 20 years serving, partnering with, and leading organizations, emilie is passionate about the daily practice of choosing love for ourselves and our communities in times of extraordinary change and conflict. She believes it is the cornerstone of health.

emilie is constantly learning, mixing theory with everyday application. She earned her Master of Divinity from Meadville Lombard Theological School (MLTS), a Unitarian Universalist seminary in Chicago, IL, where she loved the engaged learning community at the Association of Chicago Theological Schools. She graduated from high school in Easton, PA, from college in Greenville, SC and studied in Regensburg, Germany. In 2024, she'll receive her certification in spiritual direction through Meadville's Lifelong Learning Institute.

With running as a primary spiritual practice, emilie completed half marathons in all five New York City boroughs in 2023. She lives in New Jersey with her husband of 20 years and their two teenage daughters.
